Watch Out! You May Be Charged!

Watch out on your phone bills for extra charges!

A company called ESBI will charge you $34.95 a month for service on a yellow page internet ad.

This is taking place by a company calling to verify you're on our local area yellow pages.

But this is not what it seems. They call and ask to verify your information like name, address and phone.

When verifying this you are also agreeing to a service on a yellow page internet service not on our local area yellow pages.

They will confuse you in the conversation about what is and how it works.

They called me to verify my yellow page ad, which came across as the ad I had recently submitted to the phone company.

But this is just a legal scam to be known about by all. Never answer any questions about anything over the phone.

Call your local phone company and request them to put on your phone line a 3rd party block.

This will make legal scams like this unable to charge this to your phone bill. What is really bad about this is that our government allows these 3rd party businesses to legally do this to us.

So be aware, do not give any information over the phone for anything anytime.

If you find a charge of $34.95 from ESBI on your phone bill, call 1-877-562-2597 and request that they cancel this service immediately.

They will not refund any money already billed, but stop them as soon as possible.

Their address is -

Our Local Area Yellow Pages, P.O. Box 26328, San Francisco, CA. 94126, Attn: Citie Accounts Service Department.

This sort of practice should not be allowed on our phone lines.

Be Aware.
