Linder Qualifies For State

Andrew Linder, a senior at Southern High School, qualified for the Country 3 point shootout at state by winning in the Bushnell-Prairie City Sectionals on Friday, March 4th.

Andrew advanced through three nights in the Hamilton Regional and two nights in the Bushnell-Prairie City Sectional to advance to state on Thursday, March 10th at the Peoria Civic Center.

Andrew, making 9 out of 15 shots, is one of 64 advancing to the state level in Class A competition.

He is the son of Marvin Linder of Carman.
