Meet your neighbor, Judy Roessler from rural Media. Judy moved back to her childhood farmhome last year in March. She graduated from Media High School and after graduating as a registered nurse, moved with her former husband to Cedar Rapids, Iowa and began a family. She is the daughter of the late Harold and Marie Isaacson. Judy has four daughters, Janessa (David) Runyan from Castle Rock, Colorado, Janelle Roessler from Carrollton, Texas, Jennifer Dance from Media, and Joy Roessler from Richardson, Texas. She also has three grandchildren, Blake Runyan, and Jacob and Isabel Dance. In 1978 Judy moved to Dallas, Texas where she lived for 26 years. She stayed busy with her family and church and worked many years at Frito Lay's corporate offices. She also had her own consultant business for ten yeas. Since moving back to Media, she stays busy in her garden, keeping up with mowing and the many different projects that come with owning a farm. She also enjoys reading and began a book club in her home. Judy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is secretary on the Henderson County Economic Board, a member of the Henderson County Historical Society, is on the Henderson County Library board, the Stronghurst Booster Club, the Republican Women's Club and works part-time at The Quill. She really loves being back "home" in Henderson County. |
