Biggsville- "Graduating is about looking back, celebrating, and remembering all of the experiences that have made us who we are today," said Shannon Van Tine, Union High School's Salutatorian. "No matter where we go, everything we've learned and experienced will go with us."
Shannon said it was also a time to recognize all that the future may hold for each graduate. "When one door closes another opens. Class of 2005, go find that open door.."
The music re-enforced her statements: "I Will Remember You" sung by the senior ensemble, and "Friends" by a senior four-some, and "Child of Tomorrow" sung by the faculty. Their class motto does as well:

Loren Reed received Valedictorian honors at UHS and Shannon Van Tine, was named Salutatorian Monday, May 21, 2005.
Union teachers and board members were recognized at the beginning of the graduation and thanked for their hard work and dedication.
