Meet Your Neighbor Pam (Carey) VanFleet, born in La Harpe. She attended school in Dallas City, and graduated from Dallas City High School.
Pam married Jack in 1965 and they will be celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. They have three boys, David (Barb), Michael (Amy), and Chris (Valerie). They also have seven grandchildren.
Pam and Jack have lived in the La Harpe area for 35 years. Pam has worked in the bakery at Gene and Bev's (now R & D Foods) grocery for 18 years. She said she baked a total of 24 cakes and 118 dozen T-rolls for graduation parties this year.
Pam enjoys crafts, leading a ladies Bible study, her grandchildren, history and being outside.
