Steve Isaacson, representing what he calls "The Carman Army" or "The Tripod" walked away with 1st place in the 4 cylinder class at Thursday night's Figure 8 Derby.
He was happy with his $300 check and his trophy saying he came out ahead
The same event was won by Jason Spiker of Stronghurst on Saturday.
Steve's car only cost him $200, he said, plus the event is a lot of fun.
Rob Miller of Monmouth said he has enjoyed the Figure 8 Derby for 15 years. "It's an adrenaline rush," he said. He has a friend serving the USA in Iraq and painted his car red, white and blue in support of him and to "Support The Troops" fighting for us.
THE FEATURE EVENT winner was Stephen Thompson, Roseville who received $1,000 check and a trophy.
