Mrs. Terri (Collins) Sharpe, was born in Galesburg, on October 19, 1956. She grew up in Table Grove, and later attended Macomb High School and graduated in 1974. After high school Terri received her Secretarial Certificate and then went on to work at Marine Trust Bank in Carthage. She is now a homemaker and number one babysitter of her grandchildren. On April 19, 1975, Terri married Ted Sharpe. The two lived for a short time as a married couple in Carthage, but later moved to La Harpe when their eldest child, Melanie, was one year old. Melanie is now 26, and Terri also has two sons, Jack, 22, and Tyler, 16. In addition to her children, Terri also has two grandchildren, Grace who is 3 and Samuel, who is 11 weeks old. Terri enjoys movies, reading, and loves music, but her favorite pastime is spending time with her grandchildren. Terri has also been a member of the La Harpe Christian Church for 25 years, and has been active in the youth program throughout the years. A few things that you might not know about Terri is that she spent her first birthday in Casablanca, Morocco, where her father was stationed in the Air Force. Also Terri's first words were in French and she loves the band Fleetwood Mac. Terri and Ted have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary this year, and Terri says that she is "married to the best guy in the world." |
