January 10, 2005 the meeting of the La Harpe City council was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with Irish, Lovell, Bennett, Burford, Carpenter, Neff, Stevens, and Brown present Helmers absent.
Also, present were Jake Snelson, Roger Hughes, Richard Rasmussen, Tim Graves, Mona Lisa Graves, Wayne Humphrey, and Eric Moe.
After routine business, Eric Moe was present to ask the council if there were any present needs for McClure Engineering's services. A meeting will be set up with McClure Engineering to make plans for the summer projects. Moe also reported his position change to Division Manager at McClure Engineering.
At 7:43 p.m. the motion was made to enter into Executive Session to discuss the employees' health insurance plan. Council adjourned the executive session at 8:17 p.m. to return to the regular session.
The insurance committee will meet with the city employees to explain their options for health insurance coverage.
The next meeting will be Monday, January 24 at 7:00 p.m. at the La Harpe City Hall. They adjourned at 8:33 p.m.
