Meet Your Neighbor Joanna (Johnson) Wright, born in La Harpe. She attended school in La Harpe, graduating from high school in 1971.
She married Barry Wright in 1971 and they have two children. Their son Jarrod and his wife Mona live in Chicago. He is an emergency room doctor in Chicago. Their daughter, Megan, lives in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and works as a Cosmetologist/Network Educator.
Joanna worked at La Harpe Hospital from 1971-1973 as an emergency room aide. She has worked for 18 years at La Harpe Elementary as a Title I aide. She is also taking early childhood development classes at Carl Sandburg College.
She enjoys reading, gardening, cross stitching and walking.
