Meet your teacher, Jessica Gittings. She has been teaching for 2 years as Southern's PreK teacher. She has 20 students in her class ranging from ages 3 to 5. The students attend school Monday through Friday for a full day.
Jessica stated that the change in students that she sees is phenomenal and is a very rewarding part of her job.
She graduated from Dallas City High School in 1998 and from Western Illinois University in 2003.
Jessica has one sister, Lauren Gittings, who is a senior at Southern and two brothers, Andy, who is a sophomore in college and Justin who works at Lowes.
She lives in Stronghurst and enjoys horseback riding and spending time with family and friends.
