Meth Lab Case Cracked

Near Carman; Four Arrested

Henderson County Sheriff Mark Lumbeck reports that a Friday morning search warrant resulted in four arrests for Meth.

Stephen A. Doran, 54, R.R. 1, Carman; Kimberly A. Boynton, 26, 301 Maple, Burlington, Iowa; Daniel S. Jackson, 29, #16 Winegard Hall, West Burlington, Iowa, and Jason M. Smith 30, 205 South Center, LaHarpe, were all arrested Friday, February 4, 2005 at 10 a.m. at the Stephen Doran residence rural Carman, and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of meth making chemicals, unlawful chemical breakdown of illicit controlled substance.

Sheriff Lumbeck said a search warrant was served at the Doran residence Friday morning by the Henderson County Sheriff's Office, West Central Illinois Task Force agents and Illinois State Police Tactical response team. Task force agents recovered a large meth lab, and meth making materials.

Lumbeck said Kim Boynton was also charged with child endangerment, as a result of a 5-month old child being at the residence.

The four are being held in the Henderson County jail. Bond was set Saturday morning on the four - Doran $35,000., Boynton $10,000., Jackson, $5,000., Smith $5,000.
