Diana Mealey is owner and operator of the fabulous Tink's Cafe in Blandinsville. It is located at 215 South Main Street. Stop by for one of her delicious Sunday specials, and you'll understand why its packed by noon. Tink's specializes in good homemade cooking. They have a luncheon special every day and on Sundays they boast about their roast beef, ham loaf, and roasted tenderloin specials. Customers can also always order off the menu, with items ranging from burgers to chicken fingers to salads. Diana also provides great homemade pies, as well as her famous Jello cake. Tink's is open Monday through Sunday, from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night's special every week is Mexican; Thursday night's special is all-you-can eat spaghetti, Friday night's special is catfish and shrimp. In addition to these specials, homemade pizza is available all three nights. Customers can order off the menu these evenings as well. Diana opened Tink's for business a little over a year ago and appreciates the Blandinsville customers as well as all of the La Harpe customers that drive out of town to support her. She has had a successful year and appreciates all of her loyal customers. Diana lives in La Harpe with her son, Blake, who is a junior in high school this year. She says she enjoys the freedom she is allowed from owning her own business. Stop by and enjoy one of Diana's homemade specials. Just be sure and get there early enough to grab a seat. |
