The duo of Laurie Myers and Barbara Duffie, of Lasting Impressions Photography, have been taking pictures together for nearly seven years now.
They started shooting together at a horse show, and by a suggestion from their husbands, they began photographing weddings soon after.
Laurie and Barb are equal partners in the venture each bringing something special to the table.
They work well together and each have their own strengths in photography, and as Laurie said, "They have a ball."
The two stated that the outdoors is their studio, preferring to shoot their clients in a natural setting.
They take family and high school senior portraits at either one of their homes or on location if need be.
About a year ago, Laurie and Barb started shooting weddings exclusively for Shooting Stars Photography out of Macomb. The owner, David Linnenberger, was very busy with his wedding work and saw their work and offered them a job to lighten his load.
The ladies are modest about their work, but it's obvious when you see one of their photographs, that they are both talented individuals.
