The Hancock-Henderson Quill, Inc.
April 11, 2005 meeting
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Those present were: Irish, Lovell, Helmers, Bennett, Burford, Carpenter, Neff, Stevens, and Brown.
Also, present were: Tim Graves, Wayne Humphrey, and Roger Hughes.
The motion was made and seconded to accept the minutes of the March meetings.
The motion was made and seconded to approve the treasurer's report and pay all bills.
Due to the expense of repairing the old building used for storage by the water department, the motion was made and seconded to tear the old one down and rebuild a 24 by 34 pole building.
Notices have been placed around the city regarding the spring citywide cleanup date of May 6. The current contract with Waste Management expires in August. The council would like to have the representative from Waste Management attend the next council meeting for an informational discussion of a new contract.
The motion was made and seconded to renew the liquor license for The Easy Street Pub. Motion carried.
