Meet your neighbor Armand Harpin, Senior Pastor of Stronghurst Christian Church.
Pastor Harpin was born in Fullerton, CA and grew up in Anaheim, CA.
He met his wife, Pat, in San Diego, CA, and they were married in 1984. They have 4 children, Danielle who will graduate from Lincoln Christian College & Seminary this May and triplets, Alyssa, Cassandra and Rebekah in the first grade.
He attended college at Lincoln Christian College and was ordained in 2003. He came to Stronghurst Christian Church in January 2004.
Before entering the ministry, he worked in the printing industry and was vice president of sales for Total Printing Systems.
Pastor Harpin has enjoyed meeting and getting to know not only the people at church but everyone in the community.
He is looking forward to this summer's mission trip to Nashville, TN, where 10 high school youth and 4 adults will be visiting with inner-city children, soup kitchens and serving those in need. He believes it will be a great opportunity for everyone going to stretch and grow their faith.
Stronghurst Christian Church has hired a new youth minister, Darrell Brame who with his wife will begin their ministry April 17th.
Pastor Harpin wants to remind the community to come out and support the youth going on their mission trip to Nashville, TN, this summer.
To help fund this mission, there will be a pancake and sausage breakfast on Saturday, April 16, starting at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 10:00 a.m. The public is invited to come.
