Meet Your Neighbor Candy Lee born in La Harpe. She attended school in the La Harpe School District, graduating from La Harpe High School. After high school she attended beauty school in Galesburg and Macomb. She worked at La Harpe Ford Garage for 24 years.
She said actually she worked there most of her life because her father, Wayne Yetter, was co-owner, so she helped him while still in school.
Candy has worked at La Harpe Elementary School for three years. She started there as an aide for 2 years and this year as a building aide.
Candy likes gardening, working with flowers, reading, and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Bobby, live in rural La Harpe and have one daughter, Rossi.
