Preparing For The Holidays In Stronghurst

The Stronghurst Booster Club is busy planning their 12th Annual Holiday Festivities and businesses are working on many new ideas to get into the holiday mood.

The theme, an "Old-Fashioned Christmas", has been selected and will be used at two scheduled events.

Businesses will host a November Open House. In December the Booster Club will host their annual Christmas parade, turkey drawing, and candy give-away with Santa.

The Open House is set for Friday, November 19 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Some of the festivities will include a Barbershop Quartet, horse-drawn carriage rides, Leo Ramer Ecumenical Singers, crafters and make your own ice cream sundaes.

The following month, Saturday, December 11th, the festivities will begin with a chili dinner at the Senior Citizen Center, the candy give-away with Santa Claus, a turkey drawing and the Old-Fashioned Christmas parade.
