Meet Your Neighbor Georgia Lee Yetter. She was born in Chicago on May 25, 1926. She attended school in Smithfield in Fulton County. She graduated from Cuba High School in Cuba. Georgia has worked at Camp Ellis between Ipava and Table Grove, and then worked at Caterpillar in the Peoria area for 31 years. She married Franklin "Jim" Yetter on May 7, 1955. They have no children, but she says she believes every child is precious. They lived in Creve Coeur before moving to La Harpe 27 years ago and have lived in their present home for 25 years. They chose La Harpe because they had driven through La Harpe and liked it. They also have family in the area. All through her childhood people called her "Georgie", but she prefers to be called Georgia Lee. She enjoys shopping, baking and traveling. |
