The La Harpe Fall Residential City Wide Clean-Up will be on Monday, October 11, 2004.
This clean-up is being held as part of the three-year contract agreement between Waste Management and the City of La Harpe.
Items acceptable for pickup include:
furniture, beds, clothing, boxes, crates, carpeting (of manageable size), etc.
Only one appliance per household is allowed by Waste Management. Non-acceptable materials include:
tires, automobile parts, batteries, yard waste, liquid waste, any hazardous waste, chemical waste, bio-hazardous waste, or any medical or potentially infectious waste.
These guidelines are set by Waste Management and the City of La Harpe has no control over what can or cannot be picked up.
If anyone has a question about what can be set out for the clean-up, please call Waste Management at 1-800-201-1360 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Residents should have all items at the curb by 6:00 A.M. on the morning of October 11th, along with their regular trash.
