Meet Your Neighbor

by Dessa Rodeffer, Quill Staff

Meet your neighbor Sandy Keane of Stronghurst. She was raised in rural Biggsville by her parents Sylvia and the late Floyd Ebert.

Sandy has one sister, Marcella Cisna, and two brothers, Alan and Tim Ebert. She was a Union High School graduate with the class of 1981. She is married to Tom Keane. They have two children, Rachel, a Freshman at SHS, and Michael, a fifth grader at SJH. Tom works at Alpha FS as a feed salesman, traveling mainly throughout the Midwest.

Sandy works at the court house as our Henderson County Circuit Clerk. She has been with the court house for 20 years, and loves her job.

Her biggest challenge was the two murder trials held in Macomb in connection with the Dwight Vice murder case. They required her to be working out of the office, and each of them lasted for 4 weeks. It then went on appeal, and they are patiently waiting the results.

In Sandy's "spare time", she likes to watch her children play sports, garden, and spend time with her family.

Sandy is also the Henderson County Republican Women's Treasurer.
