The Hancock-Henderson Quill, Inc.
by: Coach Scott Dillard
This past Friday night was Senior Night. I thought the boys played really well.
At half-time, we were only trailing 14-6. We had two good chances to score in the first half. When you get inside the two-yard line, you need to stick it in the endzone. But we fumbled on one drive and on the other drive, penalties killed us.
I thought in the second half we came out a little flat. Brown County made some nice adjustments in taking away the fullback plays.
I thought Chase Heap had a great game. I only wish we would have had him all season. Brown County won by a score of 34-12.
Friday night we travel to Warsaw for the final game of the season. West Hancock is a very big school and a very good football team.
The team and I hope to see you there.
