Needing Your Help for the Hurricane Victims

The Luster Cluster of the United Methodist Church in the Spoon River District is reaching out and asking for your support in helping the hurricane victims in Florida and wherever there is need of cleanup.

Some of the ways that we as communities can help are by our prayers, monetary gifts, presence to help clean up, and by putting together Flood Buckets. The Flood Buckets as many of you know helped in the Flood of 1993 in Henderson County, which they found the buckets to be useful as victims began their cleanup and to sanitize their homes. The United Methodist Churches of the Luster Cluster are Oquawka, Gladstone, Biggsville, Kirkwood, Smithshire, Monmouth, Roseville, Swan Creek, Fairview Center, Carman, and Stronghurst. These churches are inviting you to help the hurricane victims by putting together Flood Buckets. The items that are listed below may be dropped off to any of the United Methodist Churches listed here.

Note: All items brought to the churches must be new items.
