November 8, 2004 Meeting
The November 8th meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. with Irish, Lovell, Helmers, Burford, Carpenter, Neff, Stevens, and Brown present, and Bennett was absent.
Others present were Jake Snelson, Roger Hughes, Richard Rasmussen, Tim Graves, Rick Sturek, William Crabill, Wayne Humphrey, and Ronnie Covert.
After the usual business was approved, the council discussed the issue of semi truck parking within the city limits.
The council approved the Christmas parade permit for Saturday, November 27 at 3:00 p.m.
A motion was made and seconded to renew Casey's liquor license for another year.
The council agreed to approve payment of workersâ compensation insurance by November 19 for a 2% discount savings.
The next regular scheduled meeting will be held on Monday, November 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the La Harpe City Hall. Meetings are open to the public.
Motion was made and seconded to adjourn the council meeting at 8:30 p.m.
