Meet Your Neighbor Kris Beals, born July 9, 1956, in La Harpe. He was educated in the La Harpe school system and graduated from La Harpe High School. He also attended and graduated from Southern Illinois University.
He has lived in Stronghurst since 1978 and resides with his wife, Diana.
Kris has three children, Ryan, Laura, and Alex, and three step-children, Mel, Trudy, and Casey. He is also a proud grandfather to his granddaughter, Chevonne.
Kris works as a funeral director for Banks and Beals Funeral Homes in Stronghurst, La Harpe, and Dallas City. He also serves as Coroner for Henderson County.
In his spare time, Kris enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and doing anything outdoors.
