Meet Your Neighbor Marilyn Jackson, born in La Harpe living her entire life in this area. She graduated from La Harpe High School and Burlington School of Business. She served on the La Harpe City Council for 5 years.
Marilyn works as Office Supervisor at La Harpe-Davier Health Care Center and has been there for 21 years. Marilyn and her husband, Roger, have been married for 17 years. Their children include Jeff (Tracy) McDowell, Philip (Candy) McDowell, Alison (Tyler) DeSotel, Lori (Toby) Hauck, and Gary (Shana) Jackson.
They also have 9 grandchildren whose names are: Cade, Holly, Austin, Summer, Mason, Alexis, Dylan, Savannah and Kayla. They are expecting another grandchild in September.
Marilyn enjoys working in her flower garden, spending time with her family, going to grandchildren's events and motorcycling with her husband. She said the most important thing she has done in her life was to accept Jesus as her Savior.
