Tracy McDowell Promoted

Tracy McDowell has been promoted to the position of Controller of First State Bank of Western Illinois.

As Controller, Tracy is responsible for developing and maintaining procedures for financial control of the bank, safeguarding of assets, and insuring all accounting transactions are documented and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Specifically, she is responsible for preparation and interpretation of financial statements, supervising the Bank's management reporting activities, internal and external auditing, and accrual accounting.

Tracy joined First State in June of 1997 as Internal Auditor and has served in that capacity until the present.

Tracy is a native of LaHarpe, Illinois and graduated from Western Illinois University in 1988 with a Degree in Finance.

During her final year at Western she served an internship at First State Bank of Western Illinois.

Tracy lives in LaHarpe with her husband Jeff and two children; Cade and Holly.

She is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her family participating in sporting activities at school.
