Blandinsville: Diana Mealey is the new owner of "Tinks Cafe" in Blandinsville. Her opening day was on June 9th.
Diana is not only a familiar face in La Harpe, but originally came from Blandinsville. She was raised there and graduated from Northwestern High School. She and her son, Blake, live in La Harpe.
She has worked at the La Harpe Tastee Freez for 20 years before buying her own restaurant. The restaurant will keep the its former name of "Tink's" and will offer weekly noon specials as well as Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nightly specials.
She will also feature a Sunday noon special and is happy to own her own business and to serve the public.
