The Village of Lomax board met in regular session Tuesday, December 2, 2003 with President ProTem Jack Todd preciding at the 7:30 pm meeting.
Present were Leslie Roberts, James Rosenboom, Ron Van Niewaal, and Rick Kienlen present, and Rebecca Moyers and Kim Peters absent.
Kienlen moved to donate $329.50 to the Haunted House Boys representing one-half of the cost of the insurance on the youth center; seconded by Rosenboom; roll call vote all ayes with VanNiewaal abstaining.
Rosenboom moved to donate $50 to Haunted House for community Christmas event; seconded by Kienlen; roll call all ayes.
Cheryl Leffler reported to the board regarding possible Americorp projects for Lomax. The board expressed their interest and would work on finding possible projects to submit.
Rosenboom moved to donate $25 to Girl Scout Troop #25 for Thanksgiving turkeys; seconded by Kienlen; roll call vote all ayes.
The board discussed possible increases, changes, or alternatives to contract for police services with Henderson County for 2004. Tabled until next month.
All approved hiring of Ravenscraft Maintenance Service for snow removal at $35 per hour.
