The Board of Education of Union Community Unit School District #115, Henderson County, met at 6:00 p.m. on February 4, 2004 in the Library, Biggsville. Members present were Allaman, Bigger, Kage, Miller, Sams, and Weber. Parsons was absent.
The agenda was reviewed for additions or deletions.The board entered into closed session at 6:04 p.m for discussion of a student matter and a personnel matter.
The board returned to open session at 6:42 p.m.The Board employed John Siebken as an assistant track coach. Lanie Hultgren, Union High Counselor, presented information to the board about her duties.
The board reviewed and held discussion regarding the proposed changes to the Union High School Curriculum Handbook.
Dean E. Irlbeck, Superintendent, reported on several items including the following: a) Health insurance renewal information, b) Technology.
The board received additional information on the budget and annual audit.
The board adjourned at 9:00 p.m. until February 18, 2004.
