The Hancock-Henderson Quill, Inc.
Isaac Myerstine arrived in Biggsville and opened up a store with a stock of dry goods, groceries, hardware, drugs and medicines.
Between his store and that of Crosthwait's emporium, A. Talcott built a hotel which he ran until his death in 1866.
His wife continued the business a year and then sold out to James Paul. Mr. Paul was in business until 1876 and then sold out.
Finally the property was purchased by Robert Martin who set about rebuilding the hotel's lost reputation.
