The Southern Belles defeated the Lady Bearcats of Yorkwood-Roseville on February 4 by the score of 57 to 43. Also on the line was the Bi-County traveling bell which was in the possession of the Lady Bearcats. The Belles were up to the challenge as this was their last chance to obtain the bell and also the last Bi-County game to ever be played by the Belles as there will be no Bi-County conference next year.
Leading the charge for the Belles was Kim Waddell with 21 points and 3 assists and Darci Renken with 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 steals. Annie Pogue contributed 11 points and Mindy Morrison had 3 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
The Belles are proudly ringing that bell. The Belles' record is now 19 wins and 7 losses. Roseville-Yorkwood was led in scoring by Brooke Singleton with 26 points.

The Southern Junior Varsity Belles also defeated the Lady Bearcats by the score of 42 to 23. Kayla Coffey led the scoring with 14 points. Lyndsay Griepentrog contributed 11 points.
