Approximately 2,000 surveys were mailed to box holders in the La Harpe school district. The return date for the surveys was January 30, 2004. As of January 30, 682 had been mailed back or submitted to the district office.
This is a tremendous response rate for a survey of this type and the Board of Education appreciated the great response.
Results from the survey will be considered at the next regular meeting of the Board.
Also, as mentioned in the information accompanying the mailing, the results will be presented at a Special Meeting of the Board and public forum will be held in the La Harpe High School gymnasium at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2004.
Information regarding some of the items addressed by the survey will be presented, and an effort will be made to answer questions that were posed in the questions and comments section.
