Sara Evans was born in Macomb and attended Southern High School. After high school, Sara attended Blackhawk East in Kewanee and is currently a graduate student at Western Illinois University in Macomb.
She is the daughter of Jane Evans and she also has two brothers, John and Mike Evans.
She works at Riverland F.S. in Stronghurst and is also student-teaching at Nauvoo-Colusa.
She resides in Stronghurst and enjoys going to rodeos and training horses in her spare time.
