Meet Your Neighbor Linda Hughes born in La Harpe. Linda graduated from La Harpe High School and has spent her entire life here.
Linda and Roger were married in 1965 and will celebrate their 40th anniversary next year. They have three children, Stacey, Aaron, and Leanne. They also have 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 step-grandchild.
Linda and Roger owned the Tastee Freeze in La Harpe for 4 1/2 years, but she worked there for 7 years. She now works as an aide at the La Harpe School and has been there for 14 years.
Linda enjoys walking, working on quilts, crocheting, working puzzles, reading, church activities and spending time with her grandchildren.
