Meet your neighbor, Joyce Bass, the Food Service Supervisor at Oak Lane Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born and raised in La Harpe and graduated from La Harpe High School in 1969.
Joyce married her husband, John Bass, the same year. They will celebrate their 36th wedding anniversary on the 23rd of December. They now live in Kirkwood.
Joyce and John have two daughters, Jean, who is married to Kevin Riggs of Fort Madison, Iowa and Stacy, who is married to Steve Glasgow of Monmouth. Steve is serving in our Armed Forces and is being sent to Fort Lee at the end of this year.
Joyce has three grandchildren, Jennifer Riggs and John and Madison Glasgow.
She loves her three grandchildren and enjoys spending time with her family the most.
