Meet Your Neighbor Melinda Horton, born in Macomb. Her family lived in the Good Hope-Sciota area.
Melinda attended and graduated from Northwestern High School. She also attended Western Illinois University in Macomb.
She and her husband, Dan, have been married for 26 years and live near Terre Haute. They have four daughters, Amanda (Lewis) Mohr, Danielle, April (Seth) Bertlett, and Jessica.
Melinda has worked at La Harpe Davier Health Care Center since 1980 and the United States Post Office, part time since 2000.
She likes to work with hogs, do crafts and enjoys doing things with her family.
