Meet Your Neighbor Sally Fisher, born in La Harpe and raised in Stronghurst. She currently works at Fisher's in downtown Stronghurst.
Sally graduated from the first class of Southern High School in 1972. She has been married to Stan Fisher for 25 years. He has worked for BNSF for 31 years. He worked as a conductor for many years and now is a trainer for the rail company. The two met when Sally worked for the railroad in the 70's. She and Stan live in rural route Lomax.
Sally and Stan have twin daughters, Jacqueline and Samantha. Jacqueline is attending Nursing School at Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg. Samantha is married to Matt Cooper and works at Fisher's in Alexis. They live in Monmouth.
Sally enjoys giving a lot of her time to the Stronghurst Christian Church. She started singing at a very young age and enjoys harmonizing with her six brothers and sisters from time to time.
