Council Votes To Oil And Chip Streets On North Side Of La Harpe

April 12, 2004 Meeting

The La Harpe City Council discussed the motor fuel tax and the upcoming oil and chipping of the north side of town at Monday night's April Meeting.

The council voted to accept the bid of $4.95 per ton from Melvin Transport to haul the gravel needed for the project.

Tim Graves reported on the training seminar that he and Rick Sturek attended in Springfield.

The motion was made and accepted to approve the Easy Street Pub Liquor License for another year.

The next scheduled regular meeting will be held at the city hall on April 26 at 7:00 p.m. Council adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
