Don't Forget Our Troops!

A year has passed since the U.S.A. went to war with Iraq and two and a half years since we sent our troops to Afghanistan. The number of casualties continues to grow and so does the rhetoric in the media.

Whether you agree with the war or not, whether you are a Democrat or Republican, or a man or a woman, we must support our troops!

Our servicemen and women are putting their lives on the line daily in Iraq and Afghanistan with no end in sight. Many others are making other sacrifices stateside and all over the world.

We must keep these soldiers' families in our thoughts as well. Most of these servicemen and women are husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, sisters, and brothers to people who are making sacrifices daily to fill the hole left by these family members, the American Soldier, who are being called to duty.

All these sacrifice to make our world a better place.

So please, the next time you see one of our troops or a member of a family who you know has a soldier abroad, go up and thank them.

Don't let a day go by without thinking of them or saying a prayer for our brave soldiers. Show your support by flying our flag proudly.

Place a yellow ribbon on a tree in your front yard as a way of showing your appreciation and support for these heroic men and women and also to show that we anxiously await their return home.

God Bless Our Troops!
