Friday night, the Rebels took on a very tough and talented 3A Orion team. They played with a lot of heart, but the outcome wasn't as good as week one, even though we played better.
When you play schools of this size, it is very difficult to win. Orion scored first and continued to cross the goal line making the halftime score 20-0.
At halftime, we talked about keeping our heads up and playing hard. We knew they were a very good team.
The Rebels only touchdown came with 1:30 to go in the game with a pass from Adam Corzatt to Ben Jacob.
The Rebels will rebound from this game. As far as I know, we had no major injuries from this hard-hitting team. We have some bruised hearts and pride, but they hopefully will heal by Saturday's afternoon Homecoming game.
The Fresh/Soph game will begin at 2:00 p.m. with the Varsity game following. Hope to see you there.
