Stella Tillotson was born in Blandinsville to Levi and Lenna Foster. Her younger school days were spent in Elvaston and Durham schools wit her high school days being spent at Dallas City.
She was married to C.V. Tillotson who died in 1957.
Stella worked for the Federal Government for 32 years in Rock Island, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the St. Louis, Missouri, area before retiring in 1973, at which time she moved to La Harpe.
She has been an avid worker in her church and the Senior Citizens. Stella was named Humanitarian of the Year in 1998 at the La Harpe Summerfest.
Her hobbies are quilting, knitting and crocheting.
