Mrs. Kai Fickenscher was born in Burlington, Iowa, in January 1965.
She grew up in Sherrard and attended and graduated from Sherrard High School in 1984.
She has been married for 14 years and has a 12 year-old daughter who attends Roseville Junior High School.
She and her family reside outside of Roseville.
Mrs. Fickenscher is employed as a new teacher in the Southern School District where she teaches Elementary and High School Special Education.
Her hobbies include horses, yard work, and cooking.
