Sarah Kerfoot is the new Special Education teacher for grades 6-8 at La Harpe School this year.
Sarah was born in Macomb April 22, 1970. She was raised in La Harpe and graduated from La Harpe High School in 1988. She attended Illinois State and graduated from the University of Texas.
Upon graduation, she was a case manager for mental health. She then taught Special Education for five years in Texas.
Sarah and her husband, Roger, live in Augusta. They have two sons, A. J. and Calvin. She enjoys spending time with her children.
Other interests are crafts, scrapbooking, and helping with community functions in Augusta.
