Southern's Jr. High Graduation exercises May 22nd promoted thirty students into SHS.
Top Scholars were Jourdan Evans and Alicia Yeakey. Jourdan Evans gave the welcome saying "It seems like just yesterday we entered Junior High.
Strive to be everything you can be. Enjoy everything that you are." Courtney Fox and Calvin Covert were named American Legion Good Citizens from eight candidates.
Others considered were: Justin Manning, Adam Smith, Sean Webb, Hillary Brooks and Jourdan Evans, and Alicia Yeakey.
Kylee Hendrickson, Robin Guile, Hillary Brooks, and Alicia Phillips sang "Show Me How"before diplomas were awarded.
