Eight students in Union 7th and 8th grades earned the opportunity to compete in state after their results were in at last weekend's Sectional Track meet in Bushnell. 7th grade girls placed 7th running a 4x100 in 58.9. The 8th grade girls placed 6th in their 4x100 in 58.4. Also, Shannon Bailey placed in the 400m dash with her 107.4 time. The teams are coached by Petie Parsons assisted by Mike Schulte. Twenty SJH track members qualified for State at the Sectionals held in Bushnell Saturday.
