Jodell Hallowell was born in La Harpe, raised in La Harpe, and graduated from La Harpe High School in 1961. She attended Burlington Beauty Academy and for thirty years Jodell ran her own beauty shop.
Don and Jodell have been married for thirty-nine years and have two sons, Scott and Jamie. Jodell has two sisters and one brother; Jack and Mary Belle Sharpe are her parents. Jodell, her siblings and all their families have spent every Thanksgiving and Christmas at the home of their parents. How wonderful to have such a close family tie.
Jodell wanted a career change so in 1989 she accepted a position at First State Bank.
Don and Jodell like to eat out and spend time with their families. Jodell's hobbies are taking care of her flowers and garden.
