Barb Cox of La Harpe is the Senior Vice President at First State Bank of Western Illinois in La Harpe.
Barb was born in Eglin, Florida on an Air Force base and is a graduate of La Harpe High School and a 1992 graduate of Western Illinois University.
She married her friend and high school sweetheart, Gene Cox, twenty one years ago. They have four children three sons, Bradley 20, Bobby 19, Ben 16, and a daughter, Genessa 14.
Gene wanted to farm, so Barb went back to school to get a degree and help with their financial needs. Barb was the mother of four small children when she made this decision. She believes you can do anything you want to if you set your mind to it.
Besides her full time job at the bank and being a mother of four, Barb serves on the La Harpe School Board.
Her hobbies are decorating, cooking and going out with their friends. In their free time, Gene and Barb like to ride their motorcycle.
