In a special meeting held on Wednesday, March 12, 2003 the Southern school board passed the following items:
- Released Chris Singleton-English I & III, Civics ; Brandon Tate-Agriculture, Science; Mike Snowden-Computer Lab and Debbie Spiker-Media Custodian
- Directed the administration with a list of stipends not to be filled.
- Enacted a yearly activity fee of $25 for grades 6-12 for participation in activities.
- Raised the Driver's Education fee to $50.
- Terminated mileage for employees between the buildings.
