TALKS CABLE TV

The March 10th meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

After the usual business of minutes, treasurer's report and bills were approved a discussion on Cable TV began.

Insight Communications attended the meeting to discuss the current cable for the residents. The council questioned the quality of the current cable in comparison to other surrounding areas.

Due to the few in number of subscribing customers, it was stated that it is not economically feasible to add additional channels to the system. Insight is planning to offer a digital package at a future date which will add channels and improve the current cable system.

Aaron Miller, road commissioner from Augusta Township, attended the meeting to get approval for road improvements along the city property north of Augusta. He would like to improve a dangerous area of the road for safety purposes. In the springtime, when weather permits, the road work will begin. The meeting was adjourned at 8:42 p.m.
