Nick Roark was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on September 15, 1957.

Graduating from Dallas City High School in 1976, he was a Bicentennial Senior.

Nick and his wife of 25 years, JoEllen, have two kids. Gerry is a freshman at Southern High School while Nicole is a student at Blackburn College.

Nick is a custodian for Southern High School and enjoys umpiring and fishing in his spare time.

He and his family have lived in Media for 14 years.
